Desert Island’s newly-renovated 38,000-square foot clubhouse is the center of golf and social life at the club. But, really, it's the people who make Desert Island so inviting.
With spectacular panoramic views, the building showcases a luxury club atmosphere, including an informal bar and grille, dining room, ballroom, boardrooms, pro-shop and full amenities in the locker room areas.
During season, casual breakfast and lunch is served daily, dinner two evenings a week, (Wednesday and Friday) and brunch is served on Sundays. From dinner dances to bistro nights, exciting social activities keep Desert Island members busy throughout the year. Holidays with family or drinks with each other are always enjoyable, as well as delicious.
The lower level of the clubhouse is truly the golfers hub, where social members and golfers gather daily. Newly remodeled men’s and women’s locker rooms, The 19th Hole Snack Shop & Bar and the Golf Pro Shop and Apparel boutique make the area truly full service-- and with great service!
Both locker rooms have comfortable lounging and card areas. The 19th Hole is open daily during season offering simple foods and full bar. You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy browsing the Golf and Apparel shop. Headed up by top merchandiser Laura Anderson, the shop offers an always-changing variety of desert casual clothing, everything you need for golf, and accessories at great prices.
Social members are entitled to play a limited number of golf rounds annually. Women social members are eligible to join The Islanders, a social putter’s group. Membership at a nearby fitness facility is available to all club members without an enrollment fee.
